absolutely the best socks; I'd say the best evidence that I like them is that I don't immediately take them off when coming home. Fabulous for all day travel, no swelling at all
These socks do have good arch support which helps withstanding and teaching Pilates. However, traction is not the rubber grip usually associated with Pilates socks. I wouldn’t use these to do complicated moves on the reformer. But for general teaching and reformer work they suffice And I bought them primarily for the arch support anyhow.
I’ve tried countless compression socks and these are hands down the best!!! Extremely long days in the operating room and my feet/legs feel great at the end of the day!!
My favorite compression socks! These are good basics for the cooler weather. Love the support and the good fit.
I pair these with my joules for support while performing and coaching aerial arts! They have helped tremendously with my middle-aged knees, ankles and arches! I would love them with matching joules in hot pink 💖and purple 💜 (hint, hint!)

I teach six hours of technique classes in a row, 3 days a week, and before I started wearing apollas the pain in my feet was becoming unbearable. Instantly, after wearing them the pain in my arches and metatarsals is gone! I am 50 years old and never found this kind of relief in ANY other form of footwear.

I wear these socks 4-5 times a week teaching dance class. I find that I need more support as I get older, and they have helped enable me to continue teaching.

I’ll be honest. It takes a lot for me to write a review. I started using Apolla after a dance friend recommended them to me for my lymphedema. I started using them for tracks, for workouts, for dance, for everyday swelling. I have been running n Disney for 7 days and was really worried about walking since I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago. Apolla socks have been an “ankle saver” and given me the support I need for my ankle AND kept the swelling at bay. The best part? They are so comfortable because of the roomy toe box. If you are on the fence, just buy the socks. Worth every penny!

I feel so much more stable when dancing with these on. My feet cramp up less and they are significantly less tired after rehearsal and class.

These are great to wear when you still want some barefoot contact with the floor. They feel good and supportive. I've worn them several times and washed them once and they have held up great. I wear a leather dance thong over them and have just the right amount of traction. I haven't worn them with my jazz shoes becuase if I put them underneath the shoes are too tight to not have the socks bunch up, and they don't really fit over easily either. Buying one pair at full price was expensive, but after they sent me a BOGO code and I picked up some different styles for a more reasonable price. Still, it's worth it to give my aging body some support so I can keep dancing for as long as possible. Made in the US is worth a few extra bucks too.
The concept and design of these socks is incredible. They're supportive, comfortable, and give me pain-free traction on all types of flooring that I have worn them on. (No tiny traction dots that exacerbate my neuropathy!!!)
Unfortunately, the workmanship of these products (other pairs included) is not commiserate with the price point.
I was in the midst of choreographing when my package arrived, so I immediately sat to put on the AMP with traction socks. As you can see in the photos, both of these AMP tractions had issues: a few existing pulls on one and an issue with the traction placement on the other.
Despite this, I was excited to use them and have found them wonderful in practice. However- after a month, the small pull is a larger snag. I don't know how much wear is left before they are compromised.
*It is worth noting that I did not reach out to the company, as my ADHD means I'm somehow incapable of returning things.... And I was excited to just use what I had ordered.
Again, I actually love these from a comfort and design point of view. Hopefully future pairs (yes I'm still trying again) will reflect the price I'm paying for socks.
Our socks are such high compression socks with a lot of fabric stuffed into a small surface area to create our energy absorption pad...so that can cause a few strands of elastic or yarn that would typically stay on the inside will pop out. This does not lessen the effectiveness of your socks. You can snip the elastics down to the sock (do not pull on them or snip the sock). These elastics popping out are not a sign of holes or lack of durability...just wear and tear that can be easily clipped if the aesthetics bother you. Never fear though, please keep an eye on your email and we will reach out to you with further instructions and tips.
The relief was beyond what I was use to expecting from compression socks. And I have had several. Firm, but not tight. Conforming without loss in form down to the stitch and edging. I thought a rip or tear would come with my rough heels, but no. These socks are true life supports.
I bought these socks and within 2 days the pain was gone. I decided to see if it was the socks or not so I quit wearing the socks. Within 2 days the pain was back. I put the socks back on and within 2 days the pain was gone. I highly recommend these socks. I have purchased more.
