Patented, Science-Backed, Made-in-the-USA Quality is just the beginning.
The AMP is best when you want full medical-grade compression benefits in a discreet no-show design that stays completely hidden inside your footwear. Perfect for sneakers, tennis shoes, golf shoes, court shoes, and casual footwear where you do not want visible socks above the shoe line. It provides the same APMA-accepted 20-30 mmHg graduated compression with patented arch and ankle support technology and ankle stabilization at key ligament insertion points as other Apolla styles, just in a completely hidden no-show form factor. The AMP is popular with cheerleaders wearing sneakers during practice and competition, pickleball and tennis players who need ankle stability during lateral movements, golfers who want arch support through all 18 holes, and anyone wanting real therapeutic compression support without it showing.
Unlike cheap no-show socks from athletic stores that provide zero compression and zero arch support, the AMP delivers genuine medical-grade support that makes a measurable difference. All Apolla styles were designed by professional dancers Kaycee Jones and Brianne Zborowski and earned APMA acceptance through rigorous board-certified panel review for promoting foot health. All styles are FSA/HSA eligible as qualified medical expenses with no prescription required. Made in USA.
Mary F. loves the AMP for everyday wear. "Love these socks! I recently bought 2 pairs of Amp no show socks. The hugging feeling is amazing, I told my daughter they feel like butter."
Yes, the AMP is excellent for cheerleading because the no-show design fits perfectly inside cheer shoes and sneakers while providing APMA-accepted 20-30 mmHg graduated compression with patented arch and ankle support technology for ankle stability during tumbling, stunts, jumps, and high-impact landings. The patented ankle stabilization targets key ligament insertion points, the exact spots where ankle sprains and rolls typically occur during the demanding movements that define cheerleading. The arch support cushions hard landings on mats and spring floors, and Independent research studies have shown that Apolla compression reduces impact force by up to 8 percent during high-impact activities, with statistically significant force reductions confirmed across multiple studies.
While the Joule open-toe ankle compression sock for maximum ankle support offers maximum ankle support with a barefoot feel and works great barefoot or inside shoes, the AMP is the choice when you want real medical-grade compression completely hidden inside your cheer shoes and sneakers with zero visible sock above the shoe line. Many competitive cheer programs now include Apolla in their standard equipment recommendations. All Apolla styles earned APMA acceptance through rigorous board-certified panel review for promoting foot health and are FSA/HSA eligible as qualified medical expenses with no prescription required. Made in USA.
Kara M. got them for her daughter. "My daughter is a competitive cheerleader and feels like these socks are so supportive. She will not cheer or tumble without them now. We started with 3 pairs for her and bought 5 more."
Yes, the AMP is excellent for golf because the no-show profile fits perfectly inside golf shoes without bunching, shifting, or showing above the shoe line, while the APMA-accepted 20-30 mmHg graduated compression with patented arch and ankle support technology supports your feet through all 18 holes and beyond. The patented arch support provides stability during your swing by maintaining proper foot alignment, and the ankle stabilization at key ligament insertion points helps with balance and weight transfer throughout your entire round. The graduated compression improves circulation so your feet and legs feel fresh on the back nine when fatigue typically sets in, and the moisture-wicking fabric keeps feet dry throughout your round regardless of weather conditions.
Unlike cheap no-show athletic socks that provide zero compression, zero arch support, and wear out after a few rounds, the AMP delivers genuine medical-grade support that makes a measurable difference in your comfort and endurance on the course. All Apolla styles were designed by professional dancers and earned APMA acceptance through rigorous board-certified panel review for promoting foot health. All styles are FSA/HSA eligible as qualified medical expenses with no prescription required. Made in USA.
Bruce K. plays softball at 65. "Great for softball I can play all day with no soreness from my feet and I am 65 years young."
The AMP is designed for general athletic use. Cheerleaders in sneakers, pickleball and tennis players, golfers, and everyday wear inside athletic footwear without dance-specific traction. The AMP Shock adds refreshable traction technology on the bottom for dancers who want a no-show design with studio floor grip on marley, wood, carpet, and sprung stages. For dancers, the AMP Shock replaces jazz shoes entirely. Both provide identical APMA-accepted 20-30 mmHg graduated compression with patented arch and ankle support technology, the same ankle stabilization at key ligament insertion points, the same moisture-wicking fabric, and the same no-show design. The only difference is the refreshable traction on the bottom of the AMP Shock for barefoot dance floor grip.
The traction on the AMP Shock lasts as long as the sock itself and restores with every wash. Both styles were designed by professional dancers Kaycee Jones and Brianne Zborowski and earned APMA acceptance through rigorous board-certified panel review for promoting foot health. All Apolla styles are FSA/HSA eligible as qualified medical expenses with no prescription required. Made in USA. Choose the AMP for sneakers and sports where you do not need barefoot floor traction. Choose the AMP Shock when you need no-show compression with dance floor grip.
Mary B. uses the AMP for pickleball. "They are very, very comfortable. I bought them to safely get back on the pickleball court after an ankle sprain. These socks definitely give me the added support my stretched ligaments need."
I had excellent interaction over a sock manufacturing defect. They listened and went out of their way to correct the problem and find me the best fit
I am 70+ years old and walk everyday. I was having trouble wearing callous on my feet. I switched to Apollo and I no longer have those issues. No pain walking now!
My daughter loves these for dance class - a little bit of traction to keep from slipping but still able to turn easily and the arch support is awesome!
I have high arches and was a dancer 20 years of my life. Now, I am 49 and have developed awful foot pain. No doctor can determine why or a cure. These socks have helped tremendously!
I was surprised how much I loved these socks! At least as supportive if not more than KT tape on my foot, yet so much easier. And doesn’t rip off my skin. And isn’t disposable. I’m ordering more!
I love the compression. It feels like a free massage every time i wear them. My feet are refreshed.
I teach six hours of technique classes in a row, 3 days a week, and before I started wearing apollas the pain in my feet was becoming unbearable. Instantly, after wearing them the pain in my arches and metatarsals is gone! I am 50 years old and never found this kind of relief in ANY other form of footwear.
Thank you so much for taking time to share your feedback! We are so happy you're loving your Apollas and don't hesitate to reach out to our team at hello@apollaperformance.com if you need anything at all. We appreciate your support!

The concept and design of these socks is incredible. They're supportive, comfortable, and give me pain-free traction on all types of flooring that I have worn them on. (No tiny traction dots that exacerbate my neuropathy!!!)
Unfortunately, the workmanship of these products (other pairs included) is not commiserate with the price point.
I was in the midst of choreographing when my package arrived, so I immediately sat to put on the AMP with traction socks. As you can see in the photos, both of these AMP tractions had issues: a few existing pulls on one and an issue with the traction placement on the other.
Despite this, I was excited to use them and have found them wonderful in practice. However- after a month, the small pull is a larger snag. I don't know how much wear is left before they are compromised.
*It is worth noting that I did not reach out to the company, as my ADHD means I'm somehow incapable of returning things.... And I was excited to just use what I had ordered.
Again, I actually love these from a comfort and design point of view. Hopefully future pairs (yes I'm still trying again) will reflect the price I'm paying for socks.
Our socks are such high compression socks with a lot of fabric stuffed into a small surface area to create our energy absorption pad...so that can cause a few strands of elastic or yarn that would typically stay on the inside will pop out. This does not lessen the effectiveness of your socks. You can snip the elastics down to the sock (do not pull on them or snip the sock). These elastics popping out are not a sign of holes or lack of durability...just wear and tear that can be easily clipped if the aesthetics bother you. Never fear though, please keep an eye on your email and we will reach out to you with further instructions and tips.
My daughter loves these socks. She wants more. She says they keep her feet from hurting after long practices and games. My daughter is small for a 12 year old so I got the smallest size and she won’t cheer without them.
These socks have changed my whole life. I am missing a sesamoid bone in my left foot and it results in a large callus in that foot, which can be painful. So I've started wearing compression socks. I wear these socks probably every day if I'm not wearing a dressier shoe. I am on the go all the time: working out, dance practice, cocktail serving weekend job, traveling, teaching dance classes, etc. I went on a 2-week trip in May to Disney World in Florida, then NYC for a dance congress. I also squeezed in some morning pavement runs during that trip. I practically abused my feet those 2 weeks, but with these socks, my feet feel better than they have in the last 6 years (since I started dancing).
The ONLY socks I’ll wear. Every single day. For daily living, workouts and dance. They have saved my feet and ankles!
I am a dance teacher with plantar fasciitis. If I knew what a difference the amp would make I would have purchased them 6 months ago. I was taping my foot but now I don’t have to. What I like about them is the arch support and thicker heel fabric. They are different from the other Apollo’s I own and these are my favorite. I’m ordering more so that I don’t have to wash the same pair every night.
we love these! Movement Source Dance Company in Phoenix AZ wore them in an outdoor performance and they held up well and feel great to dance in!
I’m in love with the Amp socks. Before I started wearing the socks I could hardly stand on my feet for more than just a few minutes due to a high arch and shoe’s with little to no arch support. Now I’m able to do what ever I want. Apolla has been a life saver. They are worth every penny.
I love my socks. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and they help tremendously. Sometimes I just wear the socks around the house it gives my in step support. I’d highly recommend to anyone who’s is fasciitis or foot pain
This is my favorite so far . Why? The low fit. I LOVE the higher profile socks as well but these are easier to get on and off to me. I wear them most of the day and they give my feet great support before during and after activity . And .. you don’t have to wash them as often as regular socks . Sounds gross but they do not retain odor.
My daughter Jasmine has been wearing Shocks for 3 years. This Christmas I had purchased quite a few pairs, just “because” she loves & swears by them. While she was at Sleeping Beauty rehearsal she rolled her foot. As I met her at urgent care the 1st thing I handed her was a NEW pair... as the compression was “NEWER” dr recommended her to wrap and put compression on it. When the Dr saw her shocks & heard how fast she put them on before being exams , stated that’s most likely what helped the swelling from spreading. So thank you for keeping this dancer able to dance & perform in Sleeping Beauty production.

These socks are so comfy!
I love the support they give me when I'm on my feet all day!
I have been suffering from the effects of nerve damage on my ankle, foot, and toes. These socks give my foot a stability I didn’t think possible. I’m very happy and I’m going to order a few more pair.
Love these socks. Great for dancing on wood or marley floors.
Great for on the go all day. No achy feet. Will look at other compressionsocks with Apolla.
